Seeking Full and Part-Time Hygienist
Seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional oral care to our valued patients. Responsibilities:
- Perform initial patient screenings, including medical history review, oral cancer screenings, and dental charting
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque, stains, and tartar
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing, flossing techniques, and nutrition counseling
- Assess and document patients' oral health conditions, noting any abnormalities or potential issues for further evaluation by the dentist
- Take dental radiographs as needed
- Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and oral health maintenance
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to all safety regulations
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience and deliver exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in CT
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
- Proficient in using dental software and digital radiography systems.Dentrix experience is a plus!
- Excellent knowledge of oral health and hygiene practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages
- Detail-oriented and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 ââ¬â 40 per week
