OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in Shelton Ct. at Oleynik Dental. The position would be 8 hours on Mondays and 4 hours on an occasional Saturday. ( 8am to 12 noon.) The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care in a non corporate general dental setting. One hour appointments are standard.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Conduct patient assessments and charting- Take dental x-rays : Dexis sensor and a digital Pan- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow- Familiarity with Softdent software for patient records management
ExperienceRequired:- Certification in Dental Hygiene- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $44.00 - $48.00 per hour
