We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be able to assist our dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and equipment.- Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures.- Take X-rays and maintain proper infection control procedures.- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.- Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and billing information.- Utilize dental software, including Eaglesoft and Epic, to manage patient information and billing.- Ensure that all patients are treated with respect and dignity, adhering to HIPAA regulations.- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on dental assisting techniques and industry developments.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Dental Assistant or willing to obtain certification within a reasonable timeframe.- Experience in general dentistry or a related field.- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, including infection control and X-ray technology.- Familiarity with dental software systems, including Eaglesoft and Epic.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment.
Skills

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 49 per week
