Job Description
Office Hour Tuesday - Friday 8AM-5PM.
Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect co-pays- Maintain patient records and update information as needed- Provide administrative support- Assist with dental billing / must know dental codes- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
-Present treatment to patients
-Must be able to work under minimal supervision, must have strong work ethic, be responsible and a team player.
Experience:
-2 years dental experience preferred- Previous experience working at a front desk in a dental office is preferred- Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred.- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a PPO only environment
