```Job Overview:```We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures and providing exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong dental assisting skills and a passion for helping others.
```Duties:```- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office schedule- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
```Requirements:```- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience- Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and equipment- Knowledge of medical coding and HIPAA regulations- Familiarity with dental software such as Fuse- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment- X-ray certification is preferred but not required
- Bilingual preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
