Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant(preferably DA II or a DA 1 with at least one year experience) to join our specialty dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for providing top-notch patient care. As a Dental Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities-Prepare the examination/treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place.
-Assist dentist during procedure by handling instruments, taking notes, and performing suctioning.
-Take X-rays(must be NC certified)
-Educate and provide patient with post operative care.
-Maintain inventory and complete lists of items needed.
-Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Experience/Requirements
-High School Diploma/equivalent.
-Completion of a accredited Dental Program.
-Proficiency in dental software and various Microsoft programs
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Be compassionate and have a patient focused attitude.
-Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
