Hourly rate: $17-$21 an hour based on experience
Schedule: **NO WEEKENDS!**
Monday 7:30am-5:00pm
Tuesday 7:30am-5:00pm
Wednesday 7:30am-5:00pm
Thursday 6:30am-4:00pm
Key Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

Assist doctor during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following proper infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental X-rays.
Perform patient charting and document procedures accurately in the patient’s records.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dental operatories and laboratory.
Take impressions and pour models for dental procedures.
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed.
Ensure patient comfort and help alleviate anxiety by explaining procedures and answering questions.

Requirements:

2 years of previous dental assisting experience is required
Ability to pack cord and fabricate temp crowns is required
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
Good computer skills w/Open Dental knowledge a plus
