Job Description
Arbor West Dental Center is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to start this Fall. Willing to train. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (fillings, crowns, root canals, implants, braces, etc.) ensuring that all instruments and materials are readily available.
Preparing treatment rooms for patient procedures by disinfecting and setting up instruments, equipment, and materials.
Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays) as instructed by the dentist.
Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatments.
Ensuring the comfort of patients before, during, and after dental procedures.
Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Managing inventory of dental supplies and ordering materials as needed.
Assisting with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. (using Dentrix software)
