OverviewWe are seeking a dental assistant with 2+ years of experience to join our team at Levie Family Dentistry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry and patient care, with expertise in various dental procedures and technologies.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort- Take vital signs to assist in patient assessment and monitoring- Perform 4-handed dentistry efficiently- Utilize 3D scanners for accurate dental impressions- Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize instruments- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software- Handle dental receptionist duties as needed- Demonstrate knowledge of prosthodontics, general dentistry, and dental anatomy
Skills- Proficiency in prosthodontics, general dentistry, and 4-handed dentistry techniques- Ability to take accurate vital signs and operate 3D scanners- Knowledge of infection control procedures and maintaining a sterile environment- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient care- Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology- Previous experience working in a dental clinic is required
