Job Description
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and maintain excellent patient care. Our offices: Complete Dental Arts (located 25 mins south of the Atlanta airport; Thomas Crossroads) and Fayette Dental Group (Fayetteville). ***No walk-ins or emails please*** **Qualifications:**
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training.
X-ray certification preferred.
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
CPR certification is a plus.
**Responsibilities:**
Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures.
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
Take and develop dental X-rays.
Educate patients on oral hygiene.
Schedule patient appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Assist with lab work as needed.
Follow infection control procedures.
