Overview: New grad welcome
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist (either full time or part time) to join our team. Private own dental clinic. As a vital member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and working closely with our dentists and dental assistants. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures such as scaling and polishing teeth, taking x-rays, and administering fluoride treatments.- Assist dentists during procedures, including oral surgery and restorative dentistry.- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, proper flossing and brushing techniques, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.- Utilize medical imaging technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment.- Work effectively in a team environment, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to provide seamless patient care.- Utilize dental software, (dentrix) manage patient records and track treatment plans.
Experience:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in dental hygiene or a related field.- Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of practice.- Strong understanding of infection control and medical imaging technology.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
