Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team Monday through Thursday. We value quality of life for our team, and we do not work evenings or weekends...hooray! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, taking patient radiographs, maintaining medical documentation, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Take digital patient radiographs- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and hygienist- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology- Familiarity with medical documentation and recordkeeping- Strong understanding of anatomy and oral health- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Ability to assist with patient assessment
Preferred Skills:- Experience with digital radiography systems
