Job Description

Our office is looking to add a personable and professional patient care coordinator to our team. In this role, you will serve as one of the point of contacts to our patients. You’ll greet patients, answer phone calls, schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments. You will also help our office operate more effectively. This will include completing tasks such as communicating with insurance providers, processing claims and filing documents, among others.
Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities:

Greet patients who enter the office warmly
Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as needed
Assist patients in filling out required forms
Collect payment from patients
Verify Insurance benefits
File insurance claims and track their progress
Perform office duties such as document filing, scanning, and copying

Patient Care Coordinator Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in office administration or a related field is preferred
Superior customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and professional appearance
Basic computer literacy
Proficiency or ability to learn dental practice management software such as Dentrix
Working knowledge of dental terminology

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
