Job Description
**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and possess a strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. **Duties:** - Greet patients and make them feel welcome in the dental office - Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort throughout - Set up instruments, equipment, and materials required for procedures - Follow strict sterilization protocols for instruments - Assist the dentist during procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques - Perform lab tasks as directed - Provide post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene guidance to patients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental room, ensuring it is well-stocked - Schedule patient appointments efficiently - Keep accurate patient records and assist with payment processes **Experience:** - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - Familiarity with Dentrix and other dental systems - Proficiency in infection control practices - Knowledge of general dentistry procedures - Ability to take vital signs and work in a dental clinic setting - Competence in dental receptionist duties - Experience in handling medical records, preferably using Epic software **Skills:** - Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods - Understanding of health and safety regulations in a dental setting - Ability to perform non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is advantageous - Excellent computer skills - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities - Attention to detail and accuracy in work - Organized, reliable, and able to follow instructions diligently - High school diploma required; completion of a dental assistant program preferred - Additional certification or training such as EFDA is a plus Join our team as a Dental Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic dental practice environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
