General Dentist - UrgentDent, P. C. - Scottsburg, IN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat various dental conditions and help patients achieve optimal oral health.
- Perform routine dental examinations, including patient assessment, medical history review, and vital signs measurement
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Patterson FUSE software.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in medical coding, medical terminology, and dental office systems
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with medical documentation and dental imaging systems
