## Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced dental office environment.
## Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentists during dental procedures including prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry- Take digital dental x-rays and impressions- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Handle medical/dental documentation and HIPAA compliance
## Qualifications- Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program- X-ray certification required, (n2o monitoring, expanded functions and sealant certification a plus)- Proficiency in OPEN DENTAL or similar dental software- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
