Job Description
*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by managing patient appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. *Responsibilities* - Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix software - Manage patient records and update information as needed - Process insurance claims and verify coverage details - Assist with billing and payment processing - Maintain a clean and organized reception area - Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow *Requirements* - Proficiency in dental terminology and office procedures - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude - Knowledge of health information management, ICD-9 coding, and Medicare guidelines - Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 ââ¬â 35 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
