Job Description

We are a private family practice in Kernersville looking for a hygienist to join our team! We are a small established practice that has been in the area for over 30 years. The current owner has been with the practice for over two and half years.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Assist the dentist during procedures as required- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:- Valid dental hygiene license in NC- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Proficiency in using dental software systems- Experience in assisting with dental procedures is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
