Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices to our patients.
Responsibilities- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures under the supervision of a dentist- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain patient records accurately using dental software systems- Sterilize dental instruments following aseptic techniques- Assist with front office tasks when needed
Requirements- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems- Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques- Ability to work well in a team environment- Strong communication skills and attention to detail- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51.03 - $53.36 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
