Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team, Monday thru Thursday. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in dental terminology, dental assisting, and general dentistry practices. Experience with Dexis Imaging, Dentrix, patient assessment, and aseptic techniques is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Take dental x-rays- Maintain patient records accurately- Administer local anesthetics under the dentist's supervision- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Excellent patient assessment skills- Familiarity with Dexis imaging system is a plus
