Job Description
Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history- Assist with dental lab tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records- Handle administrative tasks, such as billing and insurance claims
Qualifications:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred- X-ray certification preferred- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
