Dental Assistant/RDA
Our office is looking for an experienced RDA to join our team on Monday - Thursday and every other Saturday. It is a full time job. WE FOCUS ON PATIENT CARE AND QUALITY DENTISTRY. If you think you are a good fit for this position please send your resume.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow- Assist with dental lab tasks as needed- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Should be able to do basic front duties (when needed), for ex: answering the phone and scheduling patients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- X-ray certification required- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation- Familiarity with Dentrix is a huge PLUS but we can also train.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment
