Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and organized Licensed Dental Assistant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to delivering the highest standard of patient care, implementing and assuring company policies/protocols are being followed, and managing daily patient flow.
Expectations of Licensed Dental Assistant:
÷ Responsible for directing oneself, clinical team as well as Doctor, assuring all patients are seen on time
÷ Follow best practices and adhering to infection control guidelines as well as following the processââ¬â¢s and protocols of St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry
÷ Communicate to the clinical team, front office team, and Doctor any changes in the schedule, concerns with patients, concerns with schedule, and/or any other pertinent information that would directly affect those working within the office
÷ Manage the day to day clinical flow, delegating tasks as needed to fellow team members, offer help where need to fellow team members
÷ Make decisions pertaining to same day and future appointments/scheduling
÷ Provide exceptional patient care, assist Doctor and teammates as needed
÷ Maintain procedure knowledge, answer patient/parent questions accurately, explain treatment following office guidelines
÷ Every effort is made to make the patient experience positive
÷ Provide exceptional patient care and assist dentist(s) during dental treatment procedures.
÷ Perform typical procedures such as taking X-rays, charting, intra oral photos, and assisting with any other clinical procedures up to legal ability.
÷ Assisting with setup, breakdown, maintenance, clean-up, proper sterilization or other preparation of rooms and equipment & instruments daily
÷ Open and close office daily, completing all necessary tasks to ensure equipment is ready daily as well as maintained.
÷ Perform daily, weekly, monthly, bi -annual, & annual equipment and office maintenance accordingly. (see maintenance calendar)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
