Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at a reputable dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and patient care, possessing both technical expertise and a compassionate approach to dental hygiene.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings, scaling on the pediatric population- Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assist the dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations- Sterilize dental instruments following aseptic techniques- Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software for patient charting and scheduling
Experience- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental clinic- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or Epic dental software systems- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry and dental assisting procedures- Familiarity with medical records management in a dental setting- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
