Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in dental procedures, possess excellent patient care skills, and be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities- Conduct oral health assessments that include reviewing patients' health history- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements- Proficiency in Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations- Experience with patient assessment and four-handed dentistry techniques- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology is a plus- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Certification or licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of practice- Prior experience in general dentistry is preferred
