Job SummaryAn exciting opportunity to join our reputable professional team! We have a small, boutique dental practice focused on quality and personalized care, with an emphasis on complete health dentistry, prevention and the highest level of beautiful cosmetic dentistry. We are looking for an exceptional part-time dental hygienist who is friendly, team-oriented, and motivated to continue to grow and learn.
Duties- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with procedures under the dentist's supervision- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software- Administer local anesthetics under the dentist's direction- Perform vital sign assessments and update medical records- Assist in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures
Skills- Proficiency in Dentrix and Dexis- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for dental procedures- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus- Strong understanding of medical records management- Excellent communication skills with patients and team members- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental clinic environment
Qualifications- Registered Dental Hygienist certification- Proficiency in Dentrix and CAD software- Experience in pediatric dentistry- Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices- Excellent communication and patient assessment skills- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations- Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
