Job OverviewBarclay Dental East is seeking out a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and providing patient care by creating a safe and inviting environment for patients.
*Part-time position with potential to transition to full-time!
Responsibilities
Conduct prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance and scaling/root planing.
Conduct patient screening procedures; including assessment of oral health conditions, review of patient health history, blood pressure screening, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection and periodontal charting.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care including nutritional & tobacco counseling.
Perform dental charting and maintain digital patient records accurately
Administer local anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide
Take digital X-rays (Dexis & Panoramic images)
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Experience\Required Skills:
Competency in using dental software systems (Eaglesoft & Dexis)
Proficiency in iTero technology is a plus but not required
Registered Dental Hygiene license required (new graduates welcome)
CPR Cert.

Currently we are looking for a part-time position that can potentially lead to full-time in the future. We are a completely digital, up-to-date, newly renovated office. Days/Hours: Monday & Thursday, 10am-7pm with 1 hour lunch from 1pm-2pm.
