As a traveling hygienist of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of a new approach to dentistry that prioritizes patient convenience, without compromising quality. We’re looking for passionate registered dental hygienist who is ready to redefine the patient experience.
We are looking to hire an extremely outgoing hygienist who can create a fun, exciting, and unique environment for patients who get their dental care through us. We are looking for a hygienist who will go above and beyond for our patients and we will not settle for anything less. Our new RDH needs to have the right attitude, leadership, and strong personality in order to create a friendly and memorable experience for all of our patients.
You will be part of a team that travels on-site to a patient’s place workplace at one of our dental pop-up clinics. Your daily routine of dental care will be an exciting, new adventure every day!
In addition to our mobile clinic, our new hygienist will have the opportunity to work at one of our brick and mortar locations within Boston (Downtown Crossing, Government Center, and our brand new Seaport office), should they choose to pick up more hours!
Duties
-Promoting dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, deep scaling, administering fluoride, providing oral cancer screening, taking radiographs, perio charting conditions of decay and disease, and performing procedures in compliance with the ADA and other regulatory standards.
-The ability to use our portable xray machine (Nomad 2)
-Preparing patients for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, conversing, and engaging them through positive conversation.
-Educating patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions, as well as post- operative recommendations for booking their next dental hygiene visit.
-Documenting and writing notes in EMR’s for each patient after services have been completed (Dentrix Ascend)
Qualifications- New grads or experienced Registered Dental Hygienists are welcomed!- State licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts (pending licenses are ok as long as you passed and waiting on the state for next steps)- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures- Knowledge of medical terminology, records, documentation- If a new grad, we will train you!- Familiarity with dental assisting is a plus
