Job Description

Compensation: Starting out $22-25 per hour based on prior work experience, bonuses available.
We are looking to add a front desk scheduling coordinator with years of experience using Open Dental and who has experience with dental office management dealing with insurances to be part of our team. The position would start this coming November. As of now, this is a part-time position since the clinic will only be open 3 days a week, Monday through Wednesday. A full-time position will be immediately offered to those hired and interested when the clinic transitions to being open Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check-in patients as they arrive
- Warmly greet patients that call to schedule or have any questions
- Skillfully schedule patient appointments
- Be able to communicate and send information to referring dental offices such as patient referrals, x-rays and other additional information
- Register patient information and maintain accurate patient records
- Verify dental insurance information accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with patients regarding their treatment plan financials
- Efficiently handle patient check-outs
Qualifications
- A compassionate and professional demeanor that puts patients at ease
- Energetic and hardworking attitude to thrive in a dynamic dental practice
- Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using a scheduling software and basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
