*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. We are a General and Periodontal office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a dental office setting.
*Responsibilities*
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office schedule efficiently
- Verify insurance coverage and process patient documentation accurately
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date
- Assist with billing, coding, and processing payments
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing documents
- Utilize dental terminology and medical coding appropriately
*Qualifications*
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is required
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical coding, and office systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Ability to inhale new information quickly and adapt to changing environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
