Job Description

We are looking for a Per Diem Dental Hygienist to support our San Leandro Dental Clinic!
Minimum 1 day per week.

Promote good dental health and provide dental hygiene treatment to patients of all demographics
Apply preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants
Administer local anesthetic agents responsibly, dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, oral cancer screening, and radiographic studies using wall mounted and/or hand-held x-ray unit
Complete charting in an accurate and timely manner
Performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act

REQUIREMENTS

Current California Dental Hygienist license
Current CPR/BLS certificate
Dependable and follow-through with assigned tasks
Proficiency in using computers and EMR software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street

Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
