*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about oral health and patient care, with a strong knowledge of dental procedures and practices.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists with procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Conduct initial patient screenings and charting
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Maintain and sterilize dental equipment
- Keep accurate patient records
*Requirements*
- Valid Dental Hygienist license
- Proficiency in vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Understanding of CAD software for dental imaging
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Strong anatomy knowledge for oral health assessment
- Ability to implement infection control protocols effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
