Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a genuine passion for promoting oral health from a young age. You will play a vital role in helping our young patients achieve and maintain optimal dental health while ensuring their comfort and ease during each visit.
Duties:· Perform thorough dental cleanings and exams for pediatric patients and take x-rays.
· Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental habits.
· Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans and recommend additional treatments or referrals as needed.
· Work closely with the dentist to provide comprehensive care and ensure a positive dental experience for children.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
· Create a friendly and supportive atmosphere to help children feel at ease during their visit.
Qualifications:· Valid Dental Hygienist license in Michigan
· Experience working with pediatric patients preferred but not required.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with children and their families.
· Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
· A caring and patient-centered approach to dental care.
Preferred Language Skills:
While not required, proficiency in other languages desirable. Candidates who are fluent in other languages help enhance in their role within our team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
