Job Description

We are looking for a hygienist to work from 8:00 to 5:00 at our North Phoenix private practice 1 day a week.
Responsibilities

Provide superior patient care and service
Sterilize dental instruments when needed
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Take digital radiographs
Must be anesthesia certified in Arizona
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies

Skills

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Maintain accurate and legible notes in patients chart
Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Valid license to practice in Arizona

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $470.00 per day
Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
