We’re looking for a full-time, friendly dental assistant for our office. Your primary job will be to assist our dentists in serving our patients to ensure they leave our practice with a smile. Additional dental assisting responsibilities include preparing the work area and equipment for exams or procedures, as well as administrative duties like obtaining dental records and scheduling appointments. $17 - $25 hourly Responsibilities:

Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
Record each patients treatment information during their visit and ensure dental records have the most current information
Tell patients what oral hygiene steps they need to take in order to prevent infection after dental procedures
Perform administrative duties such as greeting patients, answering phone calls and setting up appointments for dental visits, ordering dental supplies, and handling billing
Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
Qualifications:

Applicants should have basic data entry and computer skills
Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service
Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills

Greenville Family Dental is a well-established dental office in the area for more than 30 years. We serve patients from Greene County and surrounding areas.
Our hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
