Job Description

Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric dentistry and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Perform X-rays and assist with dental lab tasks as needed- Maintain infection control protocols- Perform various office tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and updating medical records
Requirements:- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Proficiency digital X-rays- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus- Experience in pediatric dentistry would be nice- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25.5 per week
