Job Description

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST needed full-time for a pediatric dental office from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday (4 days a week). Occasional Saturdays (1 per month) also available if interested (but not required) in Spring, Fall and Winter from 8:00am-1:00pm.
START DATE: Monday, September 16, 2024
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings and scaling- Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings- Provide oral hygiene instructions and educate patients on proper dental care techniques- Take dental x-rays- Maintain a clean and sterile working environment- During down time, perform dental office administrative tasks
Experience:- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency with Eaglesoft- Experience working with children
Skills:- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record keeping- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Proficient in using dental instruments and equipment for patient care- Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to aseptic techniques
