This is a great opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic dental assistant who loves working with children and as part of an amazing, talented team of assistants.
Our privately owned, single doctor practice has been an established community partner in the North Scottsdale area for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on providing service that is compassionate, genuine and delivered with a personal touch. Understanding patient needs, acknowledgement of patient milestones and awareness that no two patients are the same are the cornerstones of our practice philosophy.
Our chair side dental assistants play an important part in the success of our practice. As a chair side assistant you are involved with many critical functions which directly impact the success of the practice. The key functions of the chair side assistant are:

Assist Dentist and Hygienist with all procedures
Educating patients and parents with information regarding oral health and any treatment that may be needed
Break down and set up patient care areas
Take digital x-rays
Coronal polish
Input accurate detailed notes into dentrix software
Have knowledge/experience with oral conscious sedation procedures and medications
Maintain instruments and working areas in accordance with OSHA guidelines

2 years of pediatric dental assisting experience preferred
X-Ray certified, Coronal Polish certified (preferred)
Experience using Dentrix is a bonus

This is a full time / part time time position 7 am – 5 pm Monday through Thursday. Salary is dependent on your level of expertise and skill set! We are looking for full time primarily but are open to part time as well.
