Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our dentists and hygienists in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a variety of dental settings and possess a strong passion for pediatric dentistry.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and sterilizing equipment.- Perform dental assisting duties, including radiology, impression taking, and front desk administrative tasks.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Eaglesoft systems.- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations.- Participate in medical imaging procedures and assist with pediatric dental procedures.- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.- Current certification in dental assisting or the ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and general dentistry procedures.- Familiarity with Eaglesoft systems and ability to learn new software.- Experience with medical imaging procedures and HIPAA regulations.- Strong communication and organizational skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of dental assisting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
