Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, utilizing their knowledge of dental hygiene and assisting procedures to ensure the highest level of oral health for our patients. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, performing dental cleanings and other hygiene treatments, and maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment. The candidate should have experience working in a dental office setting and be proficient in dental office systems and Dentrix software. Additionally, the applicant should have a strong understanding of the ability to work with patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, and other hygiene treatments- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining healthy teeth and gums- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and procedures- Utilize dental office systems and Dentrix software, to track patient information and manage office operations
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Skills:
- Strong patient assessment skills- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy- Experience working in a dental office environment- Proficiency in dental office systems and Dentrix software.- Familiarity and the importance of effective communication during patient care- Understanding of Geriatric dentistry and the ability to work with patients of all ages- Strong organizational and time management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
