Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our practice, ensuring that both our staff and patients have a positive experience. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and office administration.
- Manage patient appointments, including confirming, rescheduling, and following up on appointments.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient care and adherence to practice policies.
- Handle patient inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Manage billing and insurance claims, including verifying patient insurance coverage and handling any discrepancies.
- Ensure the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies and manage inventory.
- Assist with marketing and outreach efforts to promote the practice in the local community.
- Train and supervise administrative staff, ensuring a high level of performance and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Office Manager in a dental or medical practice is preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of billing and insurance processes.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
