Qualifications: 

-Oregon State RDA or EFDA

-Active CPR/BLS

-Prefer 2 years experience

Detail tasks: 

-Communicate thoughtfully, using dental knowledge to help clients understand their treatment needs, inspire home care, and ensure a pleasant expereince.

-Ensure OSHA-standard sterilization when setting up the operatory sterilizing instruments, and perform routine maintenance. Maintain a clean environment with light housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming floors, and wiping counters and windows. 

-Adherence to HIPAA-standard for record keeping using Open dental and other computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

-Take diagnosable X-ray and other imaging to facilitate the examination process.

-Obtain accurate impressions with materials, such as alginate and PVS, and pour quality casts.

-Proficiently retract soft tissues (e.g. tongue and cheek) and manipulate HVE, saliva ejector, and 3-way syringe to provide visibility, safety, and comfort for both the patient and dentist.

-Understand dental knoweldge and materials to proactively assist dentists during treatment.

-Actively listen and learn to adapt the dentist's treatment philosophy and workflow.
