OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8-2, with some flexibility. The ideal candidate has experience working in a dental office and enjoys interacting with patients and coworkers in a friendly environment
Duties- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work- Take Xrays- Maintain accurate patient records- Work with patients of all ages, including children and elders- Utilize Dentrix Ascend software for patient management
Skills- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures- Experience with X-Ray imaging

Qualifications- Chairside assisting experience- Proficiency in dental terminology- Familiarity with X-Ray procedures- Knowledge of dental office operations- Previous dental assisting experience- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Aseptic technique knowledge- Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures- Certification in dental assisting is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.73 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 14 per week
Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

X-Ray Certification (Required)
Massachusetts Dental Assisting License (Required)
