Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care and hygiene services to our patients, promoting excellent dental health.
Responsibilities- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with procedures under the supervision of a dentist- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices- Perform dental charting and take X-rays as needed- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment
Requirements- Certification or associate degree in Dental Hygiene- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in medical terminology and HIPAA regulations- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures- Familiarity with medical documentation and maintaining medical records- Understanding of anatomy, vital signs, and infection control practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $57.00 per hour
