Job Title: Dental Assistant
Location: Space Dental, Hawthorne, California
Job Description:
Space Dental is looking for a skilled and friendly Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. Our clinic is committed to delivering exceptional dental care to our community, and we are seeking a professional who shares our passion for patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a dental assistant role, demonstrate a positive, patient-focused attitude.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain cleanliness throughout the clinic.
Tracking lab cases and checking quality on arrival.
Take and process X-rays and dental impressions.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing patient flow.
Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
Assist with inventory management, ordering dental supplies as needed.
Perform additional clinical and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with dental software and X-ray equipment.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
Work Schedule:
Mon, Wed, Fri, 8-hour shifts.
No weekend work required.
Salary:
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
