Are you a Registered Dental Hygienist looking to join an office with an amazing team, patient centered care approach with ample opportunity to learn and grow in the profession? Grand River Periodontics, a one-doctor private practice in Grandville, is looking for you!!
Office Details:

Open Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break
Opportunity for full-time as well as part-time
Pay Rate $47-50/hour
New equipment: chairs, LED overhead lights, new computers (including a second monitor for patient education), cordless polishing handpieces in each room
New Harmony handle instruments of your choosing upon hire
Open Dental Software
Digital Radiographs

RDH responsibilities:

Periodontal maintenance appointments
Scaling and root planing (Limited SRP’s per day)
Administering Nitrous Oxide (will help you get certified if needed)
Administering Local Anesthesia (will help you get certified if needed)
Ultrasonic and hand instrumentation
Occasional radiographs
Complete periodontal charting (with an assistant to help enter the data)
Complete treatment notes for each visit (templates available for each service)
Work together with the team to create and facilitate personalized treatment and education for each patient

Ideal Candidate:

Passionate about educating patients on oral hygiene, the etiology and progression of periodontal disease, and the oral systemic connection.
Stays up-to-date on current dental techniques
Nitrous Oxide and Local Anesthesia certified (will help you achieve this if needed)
