The job responsibilities of a Treatment Coordinator/Front Desk includes:
1. Scheduling and coordinating appointments: are responsible for managing the appointment schedule of patients, ensuring that appointments are scheduled efficiently and effectively. This includes confirming appointments, rescheduling as needed, and coordinating with the appropriate healthcare providers.
2. Patient education and communication: work closely with patients, providing education and answering any questions they may have about their treatment plan, procedures, or medications. Serve as a point of contact for patients, providing support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
3. Insurance verification and billing: Treatment Coordinators are often responsible for verifying patients' insurance coverage and benefits, as well as coordinating with insurance providers for pre-authorization and billing purposes. They ensure that patients' insurance information is accurate and up to date, and assist with any insurance-related inquiries or issues.
4. Referral coordination: In some cases, Treatment Coordinators may be responsible for coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists. This includes gathering necessary medical records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth transition of care.
5. Administrative tasks: will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the healthcare facility. This can include maintaining patient records, managing correspondence, answering phones and assisting with general office duties.
Overall, the primary responsibility of a Front Desk Agent is to ensure that patients receive the necessary care and support throughout their treatment journey. They play a crucial role in coordinating and managing various aspects of patient care, from scheduling appointments to communicating with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 ââ¬â 30 per week
