Job Description

Fast paced dental office looking for a Front Office who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Must have strong front office skills. Applicant should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions, follow systems and respect dental office regulations and policies. Must be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures and administration as smooth as possible. Must have strong communication and customer service skills. $- Pay is based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome patients to the dental office in a friendly, upbeat manner
Must be able to multitask and have great attention to detail
Prepare patient accounts & charts for upcoming appointments
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and keep track of details in a busy, fast paced environment
Answer phones in a polite, courteous manner
Schedule patient appointments efficiently while maintaining a full schedule
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Insurance Coordination
Treatment planning and presentation
Follow up and manage tasks efficiently
Maintain and follow policies and procedures

Skills

Excellent customer service, communication and people skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft products
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn other software applications quickly
Detail oriented
Coaching skills
Must be able to problem solve
Well-organized and reliable
Additional certification or training is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
