Hello!
We are a fun, welcoming private dental practice in the Potrero Hill/Mission Bay neighborhood. We are looking for a friendly, personable and reliable front desk staff member to join our team temporaliy until the end of 2024. Full time or part time available.
This position is ideal for a professional with a genuine and caring attitude, who has the ability to provide excellent customer-service for our patients, while effectively completing clerical tasks such as scheduling, insurance coordination and collections. Prior dental office experience is a must.
Duties include:
Greet and check-in patients.
Verifying dental insurances and eligibility.
Creating and presenting treatment estimates with patient out-of-pocket requirements.
Supporting patient communications (fielding phone calls, texts and emails).
Help schedule and reschedule new and existing patients.
Sending and collecting digital forms.
Help with collection of co-payments and check-out process.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in a dental office and experience in the following areas: patient scheduling, insurance verification, medial record collection, or patient financial services.
Experience with Dentrix or similar scheduling software.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding skills, and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Excellent customer service and communication/interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone. Willing and able to get to know each patient to provide a warm, welcoming experience.
Demonstrated administrative/office coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a detail-oriented and organized manner.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Compensation:
$20/hr - $28/hr, based on experience
