Prepare patients for procedures by checking for health changes, taking vitals, etc.
Prepare treatment room for incoming patients, including keeping all operatories clean and stocked.
Prepares instruments and materials; cleans/sterilizes and maintains functioning instruments and equipment, prepares inventory on equipment and dental supplies.
Reviews and records medical/dental history and vital signs of patient.
Reviews daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
Assures completion of forms and signatures; assists in maintenance of patient records.
Performs back-up Dental Receptionist duties as needed or directed by supervisory staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations of dental office.
Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant is preferred.
Knowledge of basic sterilization methods.
Understanding of health & safety regulations, current OSHA/HIPPA training. CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Attention to detail, well-organized and reliable.
Active WA state assistant certification.
Pay

$30-$34/hr based on previous experience.
Schedule

M-Th 7:00-5:00
